How to Boost Your Fiverr Gig Ranking in 2024 and Increase Orders

Importance of Gig Title and Keywords

The most important aspect of creating a Fiverr gig is the title and the keywords. Let’s say I want to create a gig for logo design. I search for “logo design” and see there’s a competition of 180,000 gigs. It’s nearly impossible to rank high as a new seller with this competition.

But don’t worry, I have a solution for you.

Finding Low-Competition Keywords

Start by copying the keyword you want to target, like “logo design,” and head over to keyword.io. This website is free and helps you find professional keywords without needing to log in or subscribe to anything. For instance, when I search for “logo design,” I get suggestions like “church logo design” or “creative logo design,” which significantly reduce the competition.

For example, searching for “church logo design” shows a competition of just 3,600 gigs, which is much more manageable.

Exploring Additional Keywords

If you’re not satisfied with one keyword, this tool provides over 100 suggestions. It’s essential to explore and test different keywords to see which works best for you. After some research, I found a keyword, “clothing brand logo design,” which has only 563 competitors—making it a great option to rank for.

Using Browser Extensions to Analyze Competitors

To take your research further, I recommend using Fiverr extensions like FM and F Quick View. These are free and provide valuable insights about the top-ranking gigs on Fiverr. They show you the keywords used by competitors on the first page, allowing you to optimize your gig accordingly.

Structuring Your Gig for Maximum Impact

Once you’ve selected your low-competition keyword, create your gig title with it. For example, “I will create a clothing brand logo design in 24 hours.” Next, choose the appropriate category and logo type, such as hand-drawn, vintage, or 3D.

Tagging and Keywords

Use the extensions to gather the top keywords used by your competitors and copy them into your gig’s tags. Ensure you’re targeting both high and low competition keywords to maximize your chances of ranking.

Pricing Strategy

Your pricing strategy plays a crucial role in gig ranking. If you’re just starting, keep your prices competitive to attract more clients. For instance, offer three concepts for $10 in the basic package, $20 for the second, and $30 for the premium package. You can increase your prices as you build more credibility and get reviews.

Customizing Your Packages

You can customize your packages based on what other top sellers are offering. For example, if someone offers five logo concepts for $50, consider offering something similar at a lower price initially to win more clients.

Finalizing the Gig

Before publishing your gig, double-check your keywords. Ensure that you’ve targeted your niche properly by using your selected keywords like “clothing brand logo” in multiple places such as the title, description, and tags.

Delivery and Revisions

For delivery time, you can set the basic package for 1-day delivery, the standard for 2 days, and the premium for 3 days. Always offer unlimited revisions to build trust with clients and increase the likelihood of getting more orders.
